    FAQ

Q: Where are your family portrait offerings listed?
A: I am now offering commissions, fine art and mini sessions for families. My annual past clients still get the same service. I recommend signing up for the newsletter to get all the details and upcoming dates for minis.

    Q: Do you photograph babies?
    A:
No. Aside from my volunteering with Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, I do not document babies. I can offer an in-home lifestyle session but I don’t pose babies nor do I have all the nifty props. I recommend Kathleen Porter of North Photography.

    Q: Do you photograph weddings?
    A:
It used to be my “bread and butter” but now I just do it for fun. I work with several photographers in Vermont to offer second shooting coverage and video services. It’s the best of both worlds, and far less email! For a friend, past client, or those eloping I would certainly consider it. You don’t know until you ask.

Q: How much will it cost?
    A:
Every project is unique, so let’s discuss. Typically pricing is based on my hourly fees or on a contracted project basis.
Full transparency: I charge $75/hr for design work and $200 an hour for photography services.

Q: Why are you so expensive?
    A:
If that is the first question you have, we are not a good fit. Being a professional means doing things like having insurance, paying taxes, having quality gear and technology to name a few. I am not a “kid with a sidehustle” or a “natural light photographer” – I am a professional who is constantly upping their game (and have been for 20 years.)

Q: Why do I have to pay a deposit?
    A:
Deposits ensure you are serious about working with me, and that you’ll show up to your appointments. It protects you by knowing I have reserved my time to be 100% focused on you and your project.

For the love of doing good things with great people (for the greater good.)

Letter10 Creative started in 2008 as a humble ‘lil wedding biz, and has grown into a brand consulting studio with a focus on empowering others through creativity and storytelling. I have a soft spot for Women-owned businesses, Vermont small businesses, non-profits and the cannabis industry.

How much do I hate writing about myself?
    10 out of 10.

But that is not why my business is called Letter10 Creative.

J is the 10th letter of the alphabet, and I’m Jamie,* a Vermonter, creator, mother and neurodivergent just trying to make life a bit more beautiful in my little spot of the Green Mountains of Vermont.
*Not to be confused with my Hubby, Jaime (my spelling is better)

I am inspired by color and texture, nature and the good in people. I love traveling, creemees, and reading a book in my hammock at the lake (or any body of water.) I’ve designed for a ski resort, children’s books, and cannabis packaging. I’ve photographed medical equipment, countless weddings, and climbed a mountain to take environmental portraits. My brain thrives when I am doing different creative endeavors daily – creativity makes me world go ’round.
