We knew Meghan and Jesse’s wedding was going to be a fun one based on their friend’s weddings that we had photographed in years past. What we didn’t realize was it was going to be a record-breaker for us, as M+J get the award for the hottest wedding in our 11 years of business. Like 98 degrees sticky-sweltering hot, with full sunshine and no breeze. Their family and friends were so warm and welcoming. We’ve never had more offers to get us water – I assume because we were drenched with faces in shades of reddish-purple. Let’s just say that thankfully the photos were not of us, because we were not looking our finest, haha.

But none of their guests let the heat bother them. The dance floor was packed and the drinks (and water) were flowing all night long. Pingree School, was spectacular, with a gorgeous architectural backdrop and a tent along the water.I loved their orange and grey color scheme that coordinated perfectly with Pingree, and any bouquet that includes dahlias is perfection in my book.

Their wedding day was a perfect start to this next chapter of their lives, and based on their genuine caring of others, and their fabulous tribe of family and chosen family, I know their story will be filled with oh-so-much love. Congratulations Sullivan’s, it was a pleasure working with you!
