Every wedding comes with its own set of challenges. And let’s just say that rain is not a photographer’s friend.

But on a positive note, I thought it quite a successful wedding considering it rained ALL DAY and everyone still managed to have a wonderful time. When you have two people in love, surrounded by their favorite people, weather can’t put a damper on their special day! (And I honestly enjoy pictures with umbrellas!)

Some of my favorite aspects of their ceremony were in the recycle-y green and handmade details: tulips planted throughout her mother’s gardens, pansies in recycled jars for all the guests, and of course the table full of pies! The bride’s bouquet was especially cool, she made it herself using brooches from her family and found at the local thrift store, which was also where she found all of her cool antique dishes. And how can I forget? …they even had a piñata!

Rain? What rain? Haha.
