Greetings! Jaime and I had a great time meeting all the newly engaged couples today at the Vermont Wedding Association‘s Bridal Show at the DoubleTree in Burlington. Seeing everyone planning their wedding made us get excited for warmer weather and another awesome season of weddings. We look forward to chatting with you, thanks to the VWA for hosting this lovely event!
Our brand-new magazine-style catalog made its debut today, and I’ve already got plans to add more articles… A Q&A with a real bride and some tips from the pros. I think it could be a fun collaboration of wedding goodness… so check back soon to see. Until then, here is a little sneak peek:

I just love a custom save the date magnet, and this bride’s style and color palette are right up my alley. I used images from their Engagement Session we shot this past Fall, and added a vintagey-textured feel to the design elements including their custom monogram. I just love how the layout has an organic feel to it – makes me excited to design their invites in a few short months – and to see the ah-mazing blues and purples on their wedding day. Can’t wait!

Thursday, January 12, 2012. Week 3.
We were expected to get 3-5 inches of pretty white today. I got all excited to go out and take macro pictures… and then we didn’t even get an inch of snow, and the stuff that did fall wasn’t very pretty or photogenic. In fact the black board I put out melted then frost as ice balls (hence picture 2.) I managed to find a few cute flakes here and there, just not what I was hoping for. Guess that means I’ll try more macro images another day – for when we actually we get THE REAL good and fluffy stuff.
