Sunday, March 20. Week 13.
I’ve been waiting for this day for quite some time now. Do you know what today is? It’s the first day of SPRING. Yahoo! Those hens & chicks I keep speaking of are finally uncovered – for the most part. And I am crossing my fingers that they stay that way.
This weekend Jaime and I were in Portsmouth, NH and our very hospitable hosts were kind enough to drive us to some SWEET spots along the ocean to take pictures. We found bits of sea glass that were very “springy” – and captured some great shots of the largest moon we’ll see in 2011. It was bright and huge. So much so, a lot of our pictures looked like the sunrise, and not the moon rising! Truly was a “supermoon” and I can’t think of any better finale to my Weekly Winter Wonderland Project.
Robin Williams once joked that “Spring is nature’s way of saying, ‘let’s party!’ ” I will certainly cheers to that, bring on the longer days and warmer winds.
