Some people claim rain on your wedding is a sign of good luck… I see it more as a blessing on Jeff & Amanda’s new life together: “May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields…”  They live on the family farm, a beautiful and quintessential Vermont spot â appropriate, right?
Their story of how they met is quite possibly my favorite (ever!) J&A met on Christmas Eve, they sat next to each other on an airplane. Swoon. Amanda’s Grandmother claims Jeff looks like a movie star, but I would have to say they make quite the fantastic superstar-duo. I found myself singing “cute, cute, cute” to them all day. I just can’t help it, I think they’re just so… cute! A real-life fairy tale movie in the making!
Oh, and check back tomorrow to see images from their hot air balloon shoot.
Morgan at Valley Flower Company did a terrific job with the flowers, the blue, white and green combo was oh-so-springy and the bride loved all the tulips. And the venue at Simon Pearce was quite charming and intimate for their 40-person party. PERFECT for a rainy Saturday wedding. And the food? Oh mylanta, hands down the best meal we’ve ever had at a wedding. Thanks for inviting us to be a part of your beautiful (and cute) day!
