I had been doing an anti-rain dance for two days before this wedding, but it seems I should have shook my booty just a little bit more. Mere minutes before Eli and Anya’s ceremony, it started to sprinkle. But luckily it never did too much more than that, as they still got married outdoors. They say rain is lucky on your wedding, I say that just sprinkles is luckier. If it’s got to rain, thank goodness there wasn’t a deluge of water! Dampness aside, it was a heart-felt ceremony in a gorgeous location, and no one seemed to mind the droplets that will make a great story for years to come. Anya’s dress looked like it was made just for her, and her bridesmaids wore the loveliest shade of plum – everything was gorgeous. This was the “danciest” wedding we’ve been to in a while, and we loved every minute of it!
These two grew up in the same town that I did, so it was lovely to see so many familiar faces amongst their guests – unfortunately work comes first and I barely got to say hello to everyone. So sorry, and a “hello” to all those I missed! Thanks for inviting us to be a part of your beautiful day Eli & Anya, more images to come!
