Dustin & Jenny were wed last weekend under gorgeous blue skies, 85 degree weather and the slightest bit of a breeze – enough to do wonders to a veil, and kept us *slightly* cool. The White Rocks Inn is a rustic barn with quintessential Vermont charm, perfect for a family wedding. The bar was in a renovated horse stall, and the barn doors opened to let the fresh air in, their curtains billowed in the breeze. Instead of flowers, these ladies carried parasols, appropriate for the weather that day, and Jenny carried a brooch bouquet made by her Mother-in-law. All the little details were terrific, flip flops to boogie down with, cupcakes and oreos for dessert, and a wall of photographs strung together like a clothesline of the bride and groom growing up. The highlight for everyone was the music, hosted by Jenny’s father’s band, The Green Brothers Band. Pretty much the entire guest list came out to groove for at least one song despite the heat, and it seemed every family member had some sort of musical talent to lend. From singers to instrumentalists, the hills of Wallingford were alive with the crazy sounds of Jenny & Dustin’s new, bigger, family. Cheers to you two, thanks for inviting us to be a part of your special day!
