While dropping off some invitations for a client yesterday, I drove past Lake Champlain. Noticing the smoke that hung in the air from Quebec’s forest fires, I took a few minutes to photograph in one of my favorite spots along the lake. Its amazing to think that we are almost three hundred miles from the forest fires but that the smoke still effected the Champlain Valley all day yesterday. Here is more news on the Canada Fires. This is a before and after of sorts, the above photograph was taken yesterday, the one below was taken in the fall of 2008. Hoping everyone had a nice Memorial Day!
