Let’s just get it out in the open. I am a “foodie.”
As much as I hate the phrase, I must admit I appreciate good food. I love the experience, the adventure and the comfort of it. Both Jaime and I are “those kinda crazies” who came back from New Zealand with more images of our meals than of sheep. Yes, we’re just a little food obsessed.Â So when I recommend a restaurant, dish, or chef, trust I know what I am talking about.
3 Squares CafÃ© and its’ Chef, Matt Birong, are two names you should take note of. Matt stole my heart with his eggs benedict with THE best hollandaise over cheddar scones, and I’ve loved his food ever since. I’m proud that the Stowe Wine & Food Classic took note of the awesomeness that is 3 Squares, and invited its owners, Matt & Danelle Birong to present amongst Vermont’s finest. And what a presentation it was! I never thought that I liked grits, or oysters for that matter, but Matt proved me wrong. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Simply delicious!
