Today is Thanksgiving. Aside from being thankful for friends and family, I am also thankful for my business – and to my loyal blog followers, of course! I thought it would be appropriate to celebrate my 100th blog post with something new, and some plans for the next 100 blogs.
My husband and I moved to Hinesburg over a year ago. With the move came a dedicated spot for Letter10 Creative – my very own office! And it wasn’t until a few months ago that I started to actually bring personality to the room. And then I decided the paint was too “baby poo green.” And then our septic leaked “poo water” on the carpeting… I mention this because this office has been a lot of work, and a long time coming. It took a few weeks to get used to but I like it, I really, really like it.
As for the next 100 blogs, keep your eyes peeled for “Weekly Winter Wonderland,” a sister-project to “40 Days of Fall” this December. And tomorrow I will premier a new blog series simply titled “Good Things” where I plan to share some of my favorite Vermonty-Stuff. The first few months of 2011 will bring in all sorts of sparkly new stuff for Letter10Creative.com – a new homepage, updated pictures, blog design, and giveaways on Facebook. Phew!
Before we know it, I will be celebrating my 200th blog post! Cheers, j
Pictured above, some of my favorite things. Metallic prints on my new striped wall. A portion of my childhood pez collection now has a proper home. Some of our “antique” cameras, including my father’s childhood family Kodak Duraflex, a Vietnam-era lens from Jaime’s father, and my very first 35mm camera. My business card picture has the inspiration to the stripe color, a This American Life print from J… and Smoking Baby with friend Kiwi Baby in the background!
