Free Desktop Calendar Download for May 2013 in Vermont

I know, I know, I have been seriously slacking in my blog department. I’ve had good reason, and will have some great blog posts to show for it too. I promise! This image was voted on by my Facebook fans last week, and with all the hubbub of my little brother getting married, I simply forgot to post this free desktop calendar. May is one of my favorite months, my birthday falls in the middle of it (this image happened top be taken by Jaime on my birthday last year), and the flowers are starting to pop. This year it is the last month before things really swing into full-time wedding season. We’re gearing up for 16 this year – phew!

Weekly Winter Wonderland in Middlebury Vermont by Vermont landscape photographer

I know, I have been slacking on my Weekly Winter Wonderland project this year. The weather has been blah, and my photo-creativity has felt about the same, but with good reason. I’ve been so unbelievably busy, so I am a-ok if my own personal project slipped to the wayside while I was being creative for others instead! Our 2013 wedding season kicked off last weekend, and I could have “cheated” and just posted some ah-mazing quintessential Vermont-y pics, but I’ll save those for the wedding day story – coming up next on the blog.

I have been been driving past this spot for years now, and for some reason every time I passed that barn it reminded me of my late Grandfather. And within the last few months a red tractor has appeared in front of it, making this image all that more powerful to me. My Grandfather Charlie sold tractors for a living, and I have fond memories of learning to drive on a big red tractor similar to this one. Weird right? When I look at this image, it brings me back to my childhood, picking tomatoes with Gramp. Do you have certain items that bring up random memories? Thinking I may have a new photo-project idea in the works here…
